Return policy
Furniture, art, gift cards and all special orders are final sale.
Eligible items can be returned within 30 days of purchase for store credit.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
How to return
To start a return, contact us at info@districtchicago.com for a return authorization (RA) number.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping that includes a form of delivery confirmation via tracking. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 5430 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60640.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if order is defective, damaged or incorrect, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Please send us images of the damage within 24 hours of delivery. If the damage occurred during shipping, we will also require images of the damaged box and packaging to send in a claim to the shipping company. We will then work on a resolution for you.
Furniture
We inspect all furniture upon delivery to ensure the order is correct and free of damage before it goes from our door to yours. We are not responsible for damage caused during pickup or delivery. If there is a manufacture issue, please contact us immediately and send images or videos to info@districtchicago.com so that we can work on a resolution with the vendor as soon as possible.
Most items come with at least a 1-year warranty from the vendor.
Note: Floor models do not have a warranty and are not eligible for return, refund, or replacement.
Exceptions and non-returnable items
Certain purchases cannot be returned, like furniture, art, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), personal care goods, sale items and gift cards.

Refunds
Refunds will be processed as store credit for all eligible returns.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll automatically receive a store credit via gift card to your email. Please allow up to 10 business days from our receipt of your return to receive your gift card.
