This is one of my favorite nightstands I have done so far.  The "Koi" Orange paint I used really pops off the front.  The entire piece has been sanded down and painted a sleek charcoal grey.  I found vintage brass hardware, painted it black and then distressed them to match the antiqued brass spacers between the base and body.  Overall amazing lines....  3 drawers and solid wood!

I found this fabric a while back and was waiting for the perfect piece to use it on.... little did I know I would choose an end table to upholster!  The chrome base has been cleaned and buffed. I then stretched the fabric over the top of the table and had 1/4 inch glass cut to fit the top perfectly (the top pic is deceiving in this but that is actually the side of the table that is exposed)  The table also swivels a full 360 degrees!

Yesterday I went on a buying trip through Indiana and Michigan and boy was it fun!  By the end of the trip I literally had about 2 inches around me in the van to drive home.  It wasn't the most comfortable ride, but I sure was smiling the whole ride home because of all my great finds!  Here are most of them.  I still have an extendable dining table and an industrial steel desk in my car that I am waiting for help to take it out.
Please notice these standout pieces from an artist I found in Indiana.  He took vintage, steel air return vents and soldered legs onto them to make end tables!  I have 3 of them.  Also he took a vintage tool chest and cut wood in a diagonal pattern to fit the top.  Such amazing pieces!!

So I had to take the sliding glass doors out for reflection reasons, but they do come with this adorable accent console!  Use it in an entryway, library, bedroom or even as a TV console (I'd be happy do drill holes in it for cords). The casing of this piece had been sanded primed and painted a great lime green or "chartreuse" and is sure to give your space that pop of color you've been looking for.

Recognize this?  It's a Mid Century Modern coffee Table by Paul McCobb.  His Planner Group, manufactured by Winchendon Furniture Company, was among the best selling contemporary furniture lines of the 1950s and was in continuous production from 1949 until 1964.  Such a treat to be able to refinish a piece of history!

Shabby Chic? Mid Century Modern? Or just plan antique... I think this table would go with just about any style where you need a pop of color!  I stripped and repurposed this adorable little side table.  All original hardware, solid wood, 2 drawers.  Sure to be a nice addition to any home.

Check out the before on these adorable nightstands!  Quite a drastic change if you ask me.  The original had a painted on wood grain... ugh.  I decided to go with this deep teal and white because well I guess I'm still in my Key West phase.  I'm so happy with the way they came out.  I love the hidden drawer on the bottom.  I actually didn't even know that it was a drawer until I got home and started working on them.  It looks like part of the cool base of the nightstand!  The hardware is original and really pops of the teal.

Can't you just imagine Don Draper walking over to grab some whiskey from this beautiful beverage cart?!  The construction on this piece is solid.  Super sturdy, it rolls with ease and doesn't wobble at all.  The matte chrome looks really sharp against the glass shelving and wooden handles.  There is a wire drop shelf on the top that can hold bottles so they wont tip over.  Definitely a quality piece of vintage furniture from the 1950's -1960's
