So, many of you know about my roadtrip from Chicago to Miami and back, well this was my prize find. I picked it up just outside of Naples and drove it all the way back to Chicago.  The original fabric was yellow vinyl and the sofa was kept outside for years.  It was almost a lost cause.  We removed all the fabric, stuffing and cushions and started from scratch.  I found this amazing soft, teal fabric, and knew it was a match.  We removed all the wood pieces (legs and trim) and refinished them so they now look like new.  The result is awesome!  Someone give this sexy beast a good home!!

Yesterday I went on a buying trip through Indiana and Michigan and boy was it fun!  By the end of the trip I literally had about 2 inches around me in the van to drive home.  It wasn't the most comfortable ride, but I sure was smiling the whole ride home because of all my great finds!  Here are most of them.  I still have an extendable dining table and an industrial steel desk in my car that I am waiting for help to take it out.  
Please notice these standout pieces from an artist I found in Indiana.  He took vintage, steel air return vents and soldered legs onto them to make end tables!  I have 3 of them.  Also he took a vintage tool chest and cut wood in a diagonal pattern to fit the top.  Such amazing pieces!!

Vintage chairs with vintage fabric.  A match made in heaven!  I found this fabric a few months back at a salvation army and was waiting for the perfect piece(s) These chairs were the ones!  Made of solid teak, these are sure to dress up your home very nicely. The fabric sports a bright green daisy like pattern very reminiscent of Marimekko.  Just lovely!

Another extreme sofa makeover! Check out the before in the dated mustard yellow, kinda crazy! The foam on the bottom has been replaced, and the back cushions are all down filled.  It is extremely comfortable.  The sofa had beautiful Mid Century tapered legs so I decided to remove the skirt in order to expose them.  The new fabric is a super soft light avocado green.  A must see!

Wow I really want to keep this chair, but I go through this a lot in my line of business.  I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!  High gloss pink paint with brand new upholstery.  The fabric is a mod pattern of owls in black and white.  It really jumps off the chair.  Hope you love it!

Charles Schneider & Co. is the maker of this rad vintage sofa.  The beautiful green and brown nubby fabric is original and in great condition.  No rips or tears.  The MCM legs are very sturdy and add so much to the lines of this piece.  The back and top is all tufted with over 40 buttons.  Reupholstery is always available for an additional $500 if you do not like the color / fabric!

When I found this sofa it was covered in torn orange fabric and the cushion foam was crumbling at the touch.  Not anymore!  All brand new cushions and fabric, and boy is it comfy.  Very versatile, it can be used as one long sofa, or break it in two for a corner sectional or 2 love seats.  The fabric is a soft taupe and zippers were added for easy removal for cleaning.  The arms have been refinished to a weathered espresso color and the frame is a bronzed metal.  Very sturdy!

I definitely took the youthful approach on this vintage desk chair!  Made by Goodform / General Fireproofing Company in the 1950's this industrial chair has been given a new life. All new cushions, fill and upholstery and boy is it comfy!  The chocolate fabric is covered in robots for the techy / artsy / nerd in us all. ;-)
